Songs From The Season — EP

As I thought about the story of these songs an image popped in my head. One of a man chest high in dark water but instead of being overtaken by the stream the water parts around him and from him flows beauty and light. It’s this idea that worshiping God in the darkness is the way out. But beyond that, the beauty we allow God to create through us in these seasons are often the most powerful and profound works of art.

Stylistically, I drew the figure to loosely resemble Hollis himself and made sure to included 5 light rays. Each with a color that corresponds with the series of art I made for the individual song releases. Really Wanted this EP cover to feel like the culmination of that art.
