The Bridge Merch Kit

I was able to make some merch designs for The Bridge (90.9), a local KC radio station. For the most part I was given full creative freedom, so I decided to make a set of spot pieces that they could choose to use how they wanted – shirts, hats, stickers, air fresheners, whatever. Having the freedom to make what came to me helped me to feel more creative and I'm happy with the finished set. More of these projects, plz.

I chose to showcase these pieces In a way that felt like a local music scene* – DIY, a bit grungy, some varied styles, and overlapping sections that feel like the passing of time. Even though The Bridge plays bands big and small, they are great supporters of the local music community and care about playing all kinds of music; I wanted to embody that in a way here.

*When I asked for a gut check from my partner, she said, unprompted, that it looked like the bathroom stall of a venue, so I'm glad i was on the right track 🙃
