All Kings Die
5in x 7in, ink on 120lb bristol paper.
In the midst of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, the United States was simultaneously going through a heavily divided presidential election. As the threat of another Trump administration loomed, stress was high, and fear of the future was the primary topic of conversation.
To help me process my own complicated and negative emotions, I created this piece. “All Kings Die” is a reminder that, despite the existence of cruel authorities on this planet, no ruler is immortal, no reign lasts forever, and no system is invincible.
