The Colonel and Twinkles

Some Twinkles fan art. Twinkles was a short-lived cereal in the early 1960s. There were animated commercials and even a children’s book! The coolest part was the cereal’s Storybook Packaging with a 3-page story pasted to the back of the box. Inside was a frosted oat cereal shaped like stars—basically Lucky Charms without the marshmallows. No wonder it was short lived!
