Book Cover Design - The First Door Away From You

Photography book cover design for the new novel by Aleksandra Mrikova. The brief was to represent a way out of an abusive relationship visually. So I imagined a door in the most unexpected place, the beach, the place you least expect a door to be. The story was written as a diary and bearing that in mind, I made the door to be as much as a beginning as it was the end of the relationship. The colors I chose makes it visible from the shelves for all readers.
