Sale Email Mockup

This was a project I created to showcase the capabilities of an engaging email. In my experience, there is no "one-size-fits-all" email. Through A/B testing you figure out exactly what works with your customers and go from there.

Here is an example of a made-up brand I created that wants to send an email to show off its sale. Typically, with this kind of email you want it to be flashy to engage the customer to open. Then, give them options (but not too many) once they're hooked. Maybe they need shoes for running, or just want new shoes to show off to their friends? The focus is on their wants.

The reason why no prices are listed is to get them to click onto your site so you can increase the chance of a conversion. If you give them everything in one view, why would they click through to your site unless they KNOW they want to buy that specific shoe? The conversion chance is significantly lowered if you are banking on getting that type of customer. Attract, engage, convert.
