Recipe Crafter

Hi everyone!

Here you can see some pages from an exciting new project I am working on!

I started by researched my target market, creating a brief and deciding upon an MVP.

The brief was to create a recipe app that allows users to share and browse recipes all in one space. I wanted to make the process of finding what you are looking for and also uploading your own creations as easy as possible.

I then turned my brief into a series of user stories, this allowed me to design the app with the user at the forefront. Next came the style guide for the app, as well as a wireframe, before moving on to creating the pages.

The colours have been chosen to evoke imagination and creativity with the pink and purple tones, while also creating a calm and trustworthy environment with the blue and turquoise tones.

I chose to added curves to all elements of the design to give it a more friendly appearance. It was also super important to keep the navigation for the app simple. With the clear icons and contrasting colours, the user will be able to navigate easily.

Figma has been used to create most of the elements in this project, with the exception of the imported icons.

The full application is still I work in progress, but I'm looking forward to sharing more with you!
