Boost Labs Logo + Wordmark
While creating demo content assets and UI for UserEvidence, it became clear that we needed a company to showcase the various design elements, and test out future concepts. Rather than use an existing brand, as we needed to be able to use this brand on our website and in marketing materials going forward (besides the copyright concerns, we want any person/company to be able to envision themselves using our product, not a specific subset of the population who likes one particular company), the idea of creating our own faux company came up.
The concept is similar to Rocket Rides by Stripe, and allows for additional content down the road to have a "real" appearance for users, without the hassle of clearing IP to be used each time.
Enter Boost Labs. The name was coined by co-founder Evan Huck, but needed a logo + wordmark that would be representative of the customers' brands we'd be showcasing in content assets. As such, I conceptualized a few ideas (seen in the second image), before landing on the finalized logo + wordmark.
In the future, I'll be posting more demo content that features the Boost Labs brand.
