Design Cuts' massive pattern, textures, and backgrounds bundle

Hello all. A quick note to announce that I'm part of Design Cuts' The Massive Patterns, Textures and Backgrounds Bundle.

This is quite awesome in its own right, but what's better is that the Shop's products you'll find in there got an early release in honor of the bundle. Well, except for the WMC Fest texture pack, that you can get right now at Go Media's Arsenal.

So, what's new? Quite a few things.

First is the asphalt markings textures, volume 02. After the success of volume 01, which focused on yellow street markings, I hunted down a parking lot with white markings. 39 shots and a bit of editing later, here's the result.

Second is the painted stone texture pack. These 25 textures were captured on a very badly painted industrial building. The surface shows well the extra-sloppy brush strokes.

You can see previews for these here.

Third, we have the rusted red door texture pack. You now these old metal doors that the delivery entrances of some buildings have? Well, that's where these come from. The textures range from soft and subtle to nuclear blast levels of intensity.

Fourth, the WMC Fest 5 texture pack is included in the bundle. More than a 100 textures captured during the weekend of this year's WMC Fest.

Previews for these two can be seen here.

Fifth, we have the subtly worn garage door texture pack. These 12 textures were shot during a trip back to Indiana earlier this summer. The friends' we were staying at have this beautifully aged garage door. The textures are very soft, and work well for either subtle aging or background building.

Sixth, we have the weathered wood textures, volume 01. The same friends that have that garage door have a great looking wooden fence, that they leave untreated. Wood gets that beautiful gray tone, with stains of greens and browns here and there. Most of the wood grain gets softened through that treatment. The second half of the pack focuses on a part of the fencing that was painted once, and that is currently left unattended. The paint is peeling severely, which results in a series of intense textures.

Previews for these two packs can be viewed here.

You should get all of this, along with a couple gigabytes of other amazing textures and patterns, right now at Design Cuts, for only $25.

Finally, if you're here for the quick hand drawn type elements, you can have a closer look at them as well.
