«Perfect Balance»
This surrealist creation entitled "Perfect Balance" comes from an imagination where mind and heart met in search of deep peace.
It is taken from a visionary and symbolic place of art where dreams, reality, and feelings come together perfectly. The first idea is meant to be autobiographical.
- «The elements used for this work are initially juxtaposed by digital collage. A process which in my opinion is the most representative of the artist that I am. This process is intended to be very instinctive and it is the one that prevails in this specific artistic process as a multidisciplinary visual artist. This gives me almost immediate realization which is ideal for not losing the spark! I like the speed and this ease of execution because remaining honest with the Spirit descending on me is essential. It is a relationship that I privilege first of all for its sweet richness, its guiding light, its constant fullness, and above all because it always communicates to me a message of hope and love which I am interpreting.»
This watercolor and acrylic painting with vibrant and intense colors is meant to be expressive, transcendent. She takes us on a journey to this country where life springs from death, where rebirth is manifested, where nature is abundant there, and where the elements air, water, and earth call for a reassuring, welcoming, and calm world.
In the center of this work, in the background, we see a large royal blue oval frame in which the main actress is in a seated position. She wears a large, immaculate white dress with very fluid sleeves. We can perceive some blue reflections. One of her hands supports the other above her thighs = serenity. A ring of 9 stones floats in front of her at heart level = balance. Her long brown hair falls over her shoulders. A huge butterfly in the colors of yellow, green, gold, and black almost entirely covers her face = peace of mind. Behind her, a sky with shades of blue and a patch of the horizon. There is also green foliage near her left thigh where a black & golden skull is laid.
In the 2nd plan, a fenced natural wooden quay invites us, guides us, directs us towards the beatitudes of this call for zenitude and freedom. Another horizon of a mountain range in brown and gold colors delimits the tranquil, all-blue lake just in front of it.
In the foreground, in a certain excess, immense golden flowers frame the whole. There are 3 yellow daffodils, two on one side and one on the other. Then in front, there is a lotus.
