Personal Logo. Lettering "Vera". Artist's soul and way
This is my contribution on Dribble's weekly warm-up shot. The task was as follows, "let your logo reflect your unique creativity and personality".
This is my name - Vera, in Cyrillic (written with brushpen and traced in Adobe Illustrator). I'm Russian, my name means "faith" or "belief". :)
This design I made in one sudden gust of inspiration (and not during a brainstorm or many hours of hard work and research), maybe because deep in my mind I already had it, it was just waiting for its time.
This logo combines several ideas.
It reflects my love for minimalism, sleek graphic lines, tracery, lettering, and looks a bit like traditional Russian handwritten ornamental script.
It shows my own changeable nature - calm and peaceful, freedom-loving and passionate.
Last but not the least, it reminds me that an artist's way may be thorny at times, but the main thing in it is always love - for the world, people and your work.
