Grumble Farm // Brand + Website Design

Grumble Farm is a multi-faceted business. Not only is Brandy a content creator but she also wanted an online store to sell Grumble Gear (aka the cutest merchandise around). When we started our project, the plan was to use Squarespace for ecommerce but as Grumble Farm’s store grew, we made the decision to shift over to Shopify. (Squarespace’s ecommerce capabilities are totally fine for a handful of SKUs but any more than that then Shopify is the way to go). 

By the time we made this shift, I was already deep into the rest of her website and so the question became how can I incorporate Shopify while sticking with Squarespace without having to create a separate store website. 

After some research, I discovered the Shopify Buy Button which was probably the COOLEST thing since slice bread (yes…I’m 90 years old). This basically makes it so you can add Shopify products to any other platform (in our case, Squarespace). All you do is copy and paste code and BAM, there are your products. 

The functionality of this buy button and her store turned out way better than I could have imagined. Of course there are things we’d both change but overall it feels super seamless which is AMAZING.
