Graphic Equalizer Scrolling & Selection Animation
Interactive scrolling animation created for live-music discovery app Timbre. The animation evokes a "graphic equalizer" feel, and we carried that through to the selection animation (shown at the end).
The color palette was intended to reflect stage lighting that you might find at a concert. Through user testing, we discovered that the randomized indent for the cells help the eye differentiate between rows better than when cells are simply left-aligned.
