A logotype I'm working on for http://keyes.ie.

I wanted to use a monospaced typeface as the site is focused on software development, and Font Bureau's recently released Input Mono (http://input.fontbureau.com/) fitted the bill well. It's designed for code, is readable at small sizes, and has enough flexibility to be used in a wide variety of roles.

The two changes I made were to the k and the y.

I simply removed the crossbar from the k to make it stand out, as it may be used as a favicon too.

The y was smoothened and the I widened the aperture to balance the bottom heaviness of the new glyph.
