"A Man Without Baggage" Concept Sketches
It's time for another production from the Experiment Theater Workshop!
This time they're putting on a play about a man who was a missing soldier in the war (WWI I think), lost his memory, and 20 years after going missing is being claimed as a long-lost relative by five different families. It's all good stuff about becoming a new person regardless of your past, how other people define you, and what it means to look back.
The one thing the Experiment theater group specifically requested is the symbol of a keyhole. Keyholes pop up throughout the play and will be a key (ha!) motif for stage design.
I threw these concepts together for the director, trying to vary the styles as much as possible. I'm curious to see which one he ends up picking as a good representation of the play's atmosphere.
