Herne Bay Football Club

Herne Bay Football Club are a club based in the seaside town of Herne Bay, within the English county of Kent. they currenlty play in the Isthmian South East Division at their ground, The Kent Vehicles Stadium. Established in 1886, Herne Bay Football Club have played in various leagues throughout the years with varying levels of success.

Today, the club are hungry and keen to push up through the leagues. Along with this desire to improve on the field, the club wanted to update their visual identity for the 2020/2021 season.

Herne Bay reached out to me to create their new club crest, to bring a new look that worked in the modern day while referencing thier history. The process began when Herne Bay FC asked their fans to submit their own designs and ideas. This highlighted what fans held most important to the identity of their club, and as a result influenced the elements that would eventually end up being incorporated in the final design.
