Tattoo Design

This is a weird one, but I absolutely love how it came out and wanted to post. Obviously I cannot take all the credit - you can see my sketches attached - the artist did a phenomenal job shaping the tree around her arm, including fall colors into the tree, and I also love the way he redid the roots.

My sister asked me to design a tattoo for her. The goal of the tattoo is to represent her spirit - give a physical symbol for the intangible feelings of friendship, happiness, and the general bond that humans feel for each other. Her only desires were to have the middle symbol included (it means "harmony"), a tree (representing life), and fall (representing shedding the old to get ready for the new).
