Old Man of the Woods Tote Bag Design

Miranda, the musician behind Old Man of the Woods, was looking for a merch design to accompany her debut album release. We bounced through a few artistic styles and directions until we landed on the this one. There were originally more design elements and references to songs on this album, but she realized she wanted something non-album specific that could be printed on a variety of items like totes, shirts, and mugs. This final design floats somewhere between a realistic botanical illustration and a fuzzy, forest floor fever dream. Almost entirely created with the default 6B pencil brush in Procreate, aka the best brush that has ever been created.
