Nautical Mermaid & Anchor Monogram

This monogram was ordered by a soon to be married couple who wanted something to represent their relationship. The female wanted to be depicted as a beautiful mermaid sitting on an anchor representing the male, with their first name initials somewhere in the mix. The T is bold and stable, while the C is elegant and curvy.

They sent me examples of old monograms with scroll work around them, and it was suggested that we try seaweed to emulate the scroll and keep with the nautical theme. I think it worked out nicely, and the almost newlyweds are more than pleased.
