LA Sunset
ARTIST INSPIRATION:
This is an original vertical beach illustration that was created to capture the essence of paradise and celebrate the ability to travel to a tropical destination. The illustration is a whimsical, breathtaking beach sunset illustration, featuring icons such as the ocean, palm trees, people, and a lifeguard station. I made the palm trees a focal point, standing out against the soft gradient background with a fading sun. Shadows are incorporated to add dimension, extra layering, and drama to the illustration. In the illustration you will also see three guests in the ocean, a woman admiring the ocean, and a man walking out with his body board (boogie board), and a lifeguard station featuring a green flag, alerting the public of the safe beach and swimming conditions.
It's a darling piece of art both simplistic and beautiful. This is one of many scenic illustrations in my collection and my first that uses a different color palette from my typical retro theme. Designed for you to enjoy the beauty of the outside world, from the comfort of your home, dorm, or office space—also makes as the perfect gift.
