The Phactory

The Phactory intends to be a breeding ground for entrepreneurship in the ‘Westelijke Mijnstreek’ (region in the Netherlands). A former Philips factory site dating from 1946 in Sittard has been transformed into a modern, multifunctional business estate. This unique location has little spatial limitations and offers flexible high achievers a stimulating place to work. On this site entrepreneurs from all sectors are given scope to build up a sustainable future.
New life comes into these buildings, where Philips once manufactured television screen components. The light industrial nature of the area inspires and gives fresh energy. The raw atmosphere has been conserved so that the history remains tangible in the building blocks of the Phactory. This is the unifying link between those companies that will set up here.
Media&More took up the challenge to create a visual identity for the Phactory. We have subtly kept the Philips-DNA and the industrial legacy visible in both the name and logo.
