The Joy of Lettering – Rain, Gold

This is part of my #SevenDaysOfJoy series. This style of Joy is for today, Day 7. (Today is also Beyoncé's birthday–which is totally unrelated, but still a great fact to mention ^_^).

I was having a bad day this week because some terrible things were happening in my family, and in the midst of it all, a quick, random thought I had reminded me of the time I recently spent in California with my boyfriend during our vacation this August and it made me smile and laugh. And so became the idea for this version of Joy, which is: Even when it rains, we'll still have joy.
