The main challenge I faced here was doing his claws at the bottom.

I was looking for another animal to do, and this endangered bird really caught my eye. I had a version where there were lots of individual multi-colored feathers ... and it started to feel really complex. I took a step back and reminded myself it needed to be simple. How can I simplify the back so it still has its colorful rainbow of feathers while not losing his uniqueness?I think he turned out pretty nice.
