ISODOPE Branding & Visual Strategy
The time has come! Here at Synchronized, we are stoked to announce the launch of the new comprehensive brand identity project for the world’s first nuclear energy media company called ISODOPE.
The brand is based at the intersection of art, science, and advocacy, where science tells us what is true, art is the best way to communicate it and advocacy ensures we are focusing on what matters.
When working on this project, we’ve been excited to deal with the challenge of reinventing the face of science communication and advocacy to come up with a sassy, high fashion, edgy yet funny visual language and comprehensive design system that is flexible enough to be expanded in the future to several different topics such as philosophy, science, philanthropy, health, and others.
The visual language itself represents a mix between high and low tech, retro-futuristic aesthetic with some pop of colors. It is bright, upbeat, edgy, fast-paced, and alluring.
What’s more, we have also developed visual communication as well as social networks and motion guidelines to ensure the sustainable growth of the ISODOPE brand’s media presence.
What makes this brand special is the presence of the like-named character Isodope, who is a body-suited, fission-charged deity whose sole purpose is to “hack the social media algorithm” and introduce an unsuspecting audience to “one of the most important messages of our generation.” The character, which is pioneering a new aesthetic for science communication that merges knowledge sharing with high fashion.
This has been a long and exciting journey for our team and Isabelle Boemeke to define the strategic positioning of the brand as well as to empower them for further growth.
