Tactile Card for the PointCard challenge

Payment cards of the near future are going to be more personal and intuitive to use than ever before.

Nowadays, most payment cards are just plastic slabs providing a minimum amount of feedback. Tactile Card is a concept that aims to change that. Here's how:

1) The white Tactile Area, which can be customized by the user when ordering the card, provides a unique touch experience. On the practical side, it allows user to distinguish the card from all the other ones even without looking.

2) The glow-up pattern provides an extra layer of feedback when paying. If a transaction is successful, the area receives a small amount of energy from payment terminal and glows for a short time. The color can be customized by the user.

3) The dual-zone texture further improves the user touch experience when using the Tactile Card.
