Butte Typographic Map

Giant typographic map (10' x 20') of Butte, Montana for an exhibition. Text pieces based on local expressions, plays on existing ghost signs and advertising, neighborhoods, streets, mining headframes, and its strange tourist attractions.

This was my first time painting letters and working this big—it was crazy fun and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to do it. Also, I now know to plan a bit more next time!
