Río de Janeiro — Copacabana. Special Edition

On this occasion, we counted observations of mean daily maximum air temperatures for Río de Janeiro, from 1998 to 2020.

To show the data, we have chosen a pattern inspired by the famous Copacabana sidewalk calçadão. This international icon adapted to the data visualisation serves us to show the temperature over the year.

Did you know that the Copacabana sidewalk, made with stones of basalt and white limestone, is the largest urban art masterpiece in the world, with a 1.2 million square meter extension?
