Pumpkin Smash Trail Run. Event Logo. v2

This is the second version of this logo (first version is unpublished). Feedback I received on the initial rendering is that the pumpkin lacked the “smash” concept (they smash pumpkins at this event… part of the fun).

I found it difficult to do a rendering of an actual smashed pumpkin while maintaining the desired simplicity of a logo design AND a visually recognizable pumpkin.

I think this version is a happy compromise. Thoughts?
