Isaiah Triptych

Three-part illustration on the book of Isaiah for an Advent series at Hope College. The book is a bit of a "true word in a harsh light" at times, but also a deeply hopeful prophecy of something new, on the way. Out of the tired stump sprouts a fresh life.

May the same be true for us - newness, born in the context of where we are.
