Make a Spotify Canvas Video with Rotor

I've been working at Rotor Videos since March 2020 and I am yet to post any of my design work here — until now. I thought I'd break the dry-spell with a project I really enjoyed and I'm very proud of.

Rotor have always been a destination for musicians to make great, affordable music videos, however, this year we noticed a gap in the market for Spotify Canvas video creators. If you're wondering what canvas videos are, they're the short looping visuals you see while you play a track on Spotify. They not only look great, but Spotify's data show's that canvas videos can significantly increase engagement and keep listeners for longer.

I'll delve into the project details more in upcoming posts, but for now I wanted to share the landing page I designed to promote our Canvas Creator. We track metrics religiously at Rotor, and I was very happy to find that this landing page holds a conversion rate of around 46% — that's 46% of people who view this page then make an account with Rotor. I'm pretty happy with that! 😃
