NOT TOO/TO BE

Using graphic design to confront ableist mentalities- whether internalised or external. The "ideal image" of disability or illness that mainstream culture has created is not the norm, nor is it the majority. Young people can be disabled. Pretty people can be disabled. Sickness does not have a look. Disabled people can be hard workers, talented, sexy, angry- everything that the ableist ideal cannot fathom we are.
