Dropbox Pro
I’m really excited to show off my biggest project at Dropbox to date; a big refresh to Dropbox Pro. With 1 TB of space, advanced sharing features (like read-only shared folders, shared link passwords, and auto-expiring links), and remote-wipe, Dropbox Pro deserved its own home.
I led design and supported engineering for the new Dropbox Pro page, purchasing experience, and Pro user plan management. We’re making Dropbox history, too; this is the first time we’ve allowed users to purchase Pro without first signing up for a Dropbox Basic account, as well as it being the first responsive web project at Dropbox.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing illustration work of Zach Graham and Ryan Putnam, as well as tremendous effort from our engineers.
If you want to work on—and really own—product areas like this, you should come and join us. We’re hiring designers and all other positions under the sun. Learn more or email me.
p.s. We’re well aware of some browser issues—particularly on mobile devices—and will be working to fix them asap. The joys of web design.
