Hand-drawn book cover illustration

I illustrated this book cover as a portfolio piece. It is hand painted in black and white, scanned, and coloured digitally. I would love to illustrate more kidlit / children's book in the future! Or add a fun touch to (young) adult books.

On the image you can see a pond with lily pads, a stone pathway, a bowl of noodles and a monster's horns peeking out from the water. Its primary colours are a soft sage green, bright green, grey and bright orange.
