Podcast analytics dashboard

Hi there,

As a podcaster, I got frustrated with the poor analytics experiences out there so I took a stab at creating a better one.

I imagined this to be fully interactive: Clicking on any part of the dashboard would act as a filter that's applied to all other views. Clicking on category headings brings up a segmentation view (as seen in this shot) allowing you to view over-time comparisons.

Together with a friend I tried actually implementing this for real. The main challenge turned out to be not the front-end side of things, but the poor and inconsistent data generated by all the different services, which gave me a ton more respect for all those who actually managed to build reliable podcast analytics tools.

I'd love to know your thoughts on this design.
