The Ghosts of the High Fens

The High Fens is a highland-bog in Belgium. The area lies within the german-belgium National Reserve "Hohes Venn-Eifel" and covers about 700 square kilometres. It is one of the coldest and wettest parts of Belgium and a lot of the trees die due to these weather conditions. The remains of the trees along with this flat landscape create a truly beautiful and unique looking landscape.
