2021 Spectrum Brands Aquatics Catalog

The Spectrum Brands catalogs are a very helpful tool both to internal employees as well as potential customers. I was honored to be chosen to develop the design for the 2021 Aquatics catalog.

I created the cover art as a CGI scene in Blender. I believe this gave me a huge advantage in creating something fresh and unique. It is a nod to the word "innovative" in our tagline. There is great opportunity in using 3D tools to illustrate for print design and this cover was meant to be a showcase of that ability.

My goal for the design was to tell a story about how our consumers connect with our products to improve the lives of their pets The different textures used represent the diversity in our product portfolio. The images were chosen to help remind us that we are constantly innovating, learning and developing for everyone out there that finds joy in the fishkeeping hobby.
