Hellenistic helmets

The Ancient Greek helmet evolved over time to meet the needs of the battlefield and appeal to the taste of those who wore them.

Hellenistic soldiers had a greater need to see and hear on the battlefield than did their Archaic and Classical counterparts, which evolved in helmets design.

Mainly shown in these three most popular examples:

Phrygian, Attic and Thracian helmets.
