FICTIONIST Album Cover

Really THRILLED to reveal this album cover design with all of you!

Working with the Utah band, Fictionist, was a total dream come true for me. I grew up thrashing on guitar and singing my lungs out in Utah bands — so being contacted by these guys was an awesome moment for me. Their self-titled album goes live 10/7 everywhere!

The design process was really exciting. Covering these two dudes with a tub of "Clown-white" and tracing letterforms on them made my appreciation of the work of people like Jessica Walsh skyrocket. For me as a designer, it is important to challenge my self, and my client, with the work that I do. This concept was a pretty hard sell — there was a lot of worry and doubt that we couldn't pull it off, but I believe that anything can be done if you want it bad enough.
