SUPER SUPER SAMBAL

This is a personal packaging design project that originated from my love for hot sauce and my Indonesian and Dutch roots. Super super sambal comes in four different flavours; oelek, terasi, matah and idjo. 

The four different flavours come in different packaging with colours that represent the flavour. The line drawing of the pestle and mortar is to represent the traditional way it used to be made and I combined this with funky modern patterns as a base. I also combined a bold font together with a gothic font, to translate the modern and traditional feel of the packaging.
