Yona Mogan Logotype

Hand lettered logo for the makeup artist Yona Mogan. The main inspiration for the letters is Caslon. I was aiming for class and luxury, but a friendlier image and perhaps a bit cuddly.

To add warmth I hardly used any straight lines (for example, only the left foot of the n has a straight part at some point – the right one curves naturally a bit inward; the spine of the a also arches just a bit). These are only tiny features, but essential, in my opinion.
