Logistics Software Illustration

Overview

Here’s another illustration Oldspeake designed for the newly revamped VuTrans site.

Yesterday’s illustration focused on the complexity of the logistics industry, and offered a visual representation of how VuTrans offers clarity. The accompanying copy stated “Viable capacity is hidden in the complexity.”

The Problem

After the problem was stated, we needed a follow-up illustration that described the solution that VuTrans offers: “The capacity you need is there. We make it visible.”

The Solution

Increased capacity demands a technology (VuTrans) that delivers huge savings through efficiency. For this illustration we emphasized this point by eliminating the maze (complexity), increasing the trailer sizes (capacity), simplifying the routes (efficiency) and changing the roadways into a USD sign (savings).

Pretty Cool

As the story and benefits of VuTrans are told on the site, the background becomes lighter. The brand-specific orange is used to illuminate the forward trajectory of the trucks.
