Logistics Software Illustration and Interactivity

Overview

Oldspeake recently finished the web design, including a series of illustrations, for our new partner VuTrans.

VuTrans is a young logistics software company with decades of experience that drives their innovation. The logistics business is massive and complex.

In the US alone:

• There are over 50,000 for hire trucking companies 

• Over 10,000 3rd-party logistics companies that use

• Millions of trucks, which travel

• 280 Billion miles annually, transporting

• 22 Trillion pounds of freight, between

• Countless pick-up origin and destination locations for 

• Hundreds of Thousands of freight shippers and receivers nationwide

The Problem

The illustration reflects the very problem the US logistics community faces: a complex maze of trucks, moving in every direction, picking up, delivering, and dropping off freight. Inefficiency is everywhere.

The Breakthrough

VuTrans brings absolute clarity through the noise, and ultimately provides savings through that efficiency. 

The Solution

At first, the user is presented with a pixelated version of the illustration (noise). Their interaction reveals the illustration (clarity).

Pretty Cool

The user is actually demonstrating the value of VuTrans by visiting and interacting with their site.
