Beef Is...

This is one of my favorite tracks of all time, and it couldn't possibly be more relevant than right now (check out this great mashup from Max Tanone: Johnny Too Beef). I've been exploring vertical rhythms and baseline grids lately, and figured that this is as good a picture as any to use as the backdrop for tests.

By the way, the conflicts in Ferguson have turned me on to a stellar AP staff photographer, Jeff Roberson. He's responsible for—as far as I can tell—the majority of the great shots in the middle of the militarized zone in Ferguson right now, including the original image used for this shot.
