It’s okay not to do everything.

It’s a big task being a human in this age.

We live in a world with more distractions than ever in the history of the planet.

Attention seeking is all around, particularly in your pocket.

Even this message is asking for your attention (which is a bit meta).

But, it is an important message.

So, continue we shall.

Unfortunately, there are no more hours in the day.

Only the 24 we already have.

Well, last time I checked.

Hmmm, I imagine someone is working on this though.

But, I digress.

If this is the case, then you must look for ways to multiply your effort.

To understand the power of the influencers.

The few that are influential for you.

To find your multiplier.

It might be an organisation?

A company?

A person?

A habit?

Like a way to make the most of your time.

Cal Newport wrote a book about this called ‘Deep Work’.

The TLDR - It involves saying ‘no’ a lot.

No Meetings

No Phones.

No Wi-Fi.

No for 2 - 3 hours each day.

If you keep it up, your 2–3-hour discipline.

Will be worth more than other people’s 8 hours.

Since, they will be distracted.

By doom scrolling.

By an email that has just arrived.

By a great video on TikTok.

But not you.

For 2-3 hours each day.

You will do want you need to do.

That’s why is will be okay to not do everything.
