Blacklist Bagels, owned and run by Kevin Chaps and Gretchen Elle, is such a unique project. Run out of the commons in Grand Rapids, Kevin found the one thing Grand Rapids was truly lacking was New York Style bagels. He was determined to fix that not only for his own cravings but to show the Midwest what they were missing! Inspired by the name ‘Blacklist” I knew this branding had to be edgy. Utilizing a darker color palette, it helps the brand feel a bit more forbidden or dare I say it…. blacklisted.
