Von Restorff Effect

YOUR DESIGN CAN BE A TOTAL WASTE User Experience is how the user interacts with your product through usability, accessibility, and desirability. But sometimes your design can be a total waste because there are laws of UX design that you didn’t follow. So here I would be illustrating one law at a time. You can follow for updates and better understanding. VON RESTORFF EFFECT The Von Restorff law of UX  predicts that when multiple similar objects are present, the one that differs from the rest is most likely to be remembered. Therefore as a Product Designer, you should always distinguish key actions, in-actions and important informations. In the design below, I want my users to continue reading their unfinished books, the best way is to draw their attention to it by giving the action a distinct color and when they finally click to read I don't want them distracted and moving elsewhere, so I should make them know they have taken an action.
