Your presence is a promise.

Some of us think they have a presence, once they have a logo.

It is not a small thing, but it is not a presence.

What you have at that point is a static logo.

No more, no less.

The job of your presence is to dynamically make the logo stand for something.

To live its origin story each and everyday.

To stay true.

How do you do that?

Offer a great product.

Offer a great service.

Offer your enterprise as a tool to make the change you wish to see in this world.

It is not difficult, but it is hard.

Of course, a good logo can help.

But, even the best logo can only do so much.

Pretty sure, NASA would still have captivated our hearts and our minds in getting to the moon, if the meatball or the worm weren’t involved.

So where does this leave us?

The presence you offer is a consistent promise to the rest of the world.

‘I promise to make the highest quality outerwear that heals the planet’

‘I promise to provide the fastest and most relevant search’

‘I promise to change how you drive’

So, what’s your promise?

Your promise in turn becomes your presence.
