Iemanjá

🧜🏾‍♀️ Iemanjá is a major water spirit, she is the mother of all Orishas. In my hometown, Salvador, Iemanjá is celebrated by candomblé and every February 2nd, thousands of people line up at dawn to leave their offerings at her shrine in Rio Vermelho.

🌊 In 2020, before the pandemic started in Brazil, i had the pleasure to celebrate the February 2nd, which inspired me to create this illustration that I am very proud of.
