Dad's Kitchen

Dad’s Kitchen is a restaurant inspired by Spanish and American foods located in Indianapolis. For the chef growing up in a traditional Mexican household, home cooking was part of his daily routine and cultural practice. Moving to the United States empowered him to cook basic pantry food items into diverse cultural food recipes from across the world.

The goal was to create a high-impact brand to represent the years of experience and a series of illustrations that communicate the feelings involved in the art of cooking. Blue is not commonly used in the restaurant industry but with a careful selection of secondary colors it can make customers happy, boost their appetite, increase table turnover, and make the dining space seem more spacious.
