ScatterRadio Web App Design
ScatterRadio, a user generated streaming internet radio. Users can record themselves and broadcast it to the world. Listen to live and recorded audio broadcasts. From new Indy music to breaking news, it allows users to have conversations with one another all over the world about important matters of everyday life.
Like many emerging social products, ScatterRadio's web app had gone through many iterations over time, with a focus on usability and user retention. With each iteration, the product and its core features become much more refined, such as the importance of encouraging users to record a reply to a soundbyte in order to continue the conversation of a given topic.
My Role: Product design with a user first approach. Creation of graphics including iconography, interface and web assets. Structured the html/css of the final designs so web programmers could use it as a basis. Established brand identity. Created materials and assets for marketing campaigns.
